A tour of the Manor House provides information about the life of W.K. Kellogg, interesting details of this 1920s house, and information about the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station.

Built in 1925-1926, the Kellogg Manor House is a classic example of Tudor revival architecture with leaded glass bay windows, quarter-sawn oak coffered ceiling, a hand carved stairway, and beautiful Rookwood tile fireplaces and bathrooms. (View our photo gallery).

2013 Guided Public Tour Schedule: Tours last about 1 hour and are offered approximately every 20 minutes. All tours are free on the following dates:

Guided Tour Admissions:

  • $5 for adults, seniors, and students (ages 6-18)
  • Free for members and children 5 and under

Luncheons  in the Kellogg Manor House may be arranged for groups of 20 or more; smaller groups may opt for a meal at McCrary Dining Hall (next door).  For more information and current availability and price please call (269) 671-2160 or email manorhouse@kbs.msu.edu.

We welcome Motor Coach and other groups throughout the year. Please call 269-671-2160 or email manorhouse@kbs.msu.edu for available dates. As a courtesy, with tour groups of 25 people or more, the driver and escort are complimentary.
