Each winter Willy McDonald transforms the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary auditorium into Duck Blind University.  This year Willy, owner of www.theduckblind.com, invited Jenny Olson one of the hosts of Michigan Out of Doors TV to create a decoy and video tape the process.  The Sanctuary is an excellent venue for decoy carving because the outdoor classroom offers views of the real thing every month of the year.  The episode can be viewed on-line at http://www.michiganoutofdoorstv.com/shows.cfm   Interested in attending Duck Blind University?  Details will be posted on the Bird Sanctuary’s events calendar in late fall: Sanctuary Events.
