Cloverdale Lake is a meso-oligotrophic (TP= 16.5 µg/L) dimictic lake in Barry County. It has public access and a semi developed shoreline. The surface area is 25.8 ha and the maximal depth is 15.2 m. The shoreline is not very steep (depth ratio 0.25) and a relative small proportion of the lake deeper than the thermocline around 6-7 m becomes anoxic in summer. Common planktonic cladocerans in summer are Daphnia dentifera, D. pulicaria and D. retrocurva.
