Dr. Stuart Jones, a former KBS postdoc, recently received an ASLO award for a paper he did while at KBS.  ASLO awards are given each year to recognize accomplishments in the field of aquatic science. Dr. Jones is the recipient of the Raymond L. Lindeman award, which is given to recognize outstanding papers by young aquatic scientists. Dr. Jones' winning paper is titled "Dormancy contributes to the maintenance of microbial diversity," published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science.
